Rodas Hotel - In the core of the luxurious and serene
environment of Hiranandani Gardens stands RODAS
- An Ecotel Hotel a signature creation of the Hiranandani
Group.
RODAS, which means the junction of heaven and earth
in Sanskrit, is a uniquely appropriate name for
this hotel; where concern for guests goes hand in
hand with friendliness towards the earth. The hotel,
with its neo-classical arched façade and
modern interiors designed by renowned Architect
Hafeez Contractor, displays a distinct combination
of contemporary design and old world charm.
RODAS, is India's first Corporate Designer Ecotel
Hotel and the second Ecotel in India complying with
all five requisite norms for Hospitality Valuation
Services International's ECOTEL certification: Solid
waste Management, Energy efficiency, Water conservation
and preservation, Employee education and Community
Involvement. Technically speaking, the passive energy
conservation efforts are well thought of in the
design. The focus point of the parabolic shape faces
the northeast, hence reducing the direct sunlight
thereby reducing electricity consumption by way
of lesser air conditioning and lighting. A false
wall and double glazed windows further help in considerably
reducing the energy requirement. Stringent quality
control and a passionate awareness in terms of preserving
ecology is evident throughout the operations at
every level, and regulated by an international authority.
RODAS is distinguished by its exceptionally personalized
service and impeccable facilities for relaxation,
leisure and business support. The hotel is located
in the heart of Mumbai, at Hiranandani Gardens,
adjacent to the beautiful Powai Lake, only 15 minutes
away from the International airport. It has well
appointed twin and double bed rooms, each equipped
with T.V., direct dial telephone, internet connectivity,
channel music, mini bar, tea/coffee maker, electronic
safe and individual temperature controls, to ensure
that the guest is comfortable.
Besides, there is Parabola ,the 24-hour South East
Asia & Continental cuisine restaurant. This
55 cover delightfully decorated dining space also
offers a very reasonably priced buffet spread on
weekends and festive days.
The heart of Rodas is India's First Non-Stop Talent
Station - "AURA -the Restro Bar".
AURA, has been majestically and skillfully designed
to created a fusion of Music and Fashion, in order
for everybody to Breathe Music, Sense Fashion.

Why use dead flowers to bring a room alive? At
RODAS, you'll find cut flowers cut to an absolute
minimum - instead living vibrant plants help bring
the beauty of nature indoors.
DND, MAKE UP ROOM & LAUNDRY SIGN
Having the DND, MAKE UP ROOM and LAUNDRY sign

would have been otherwise generated by having
these signs made from paper.
BOXES FOR TISSUES, COTTON & SOAP SUDS
Tissue box, jars for cotton balls and soap suds
are made from NUWUD, as it goes with our theme,
instead of having had to use acrylic.
WATER FLASK & GLASSES
The water flask in the guestrooms are left empty
which are filled after asking the guest for his
preference of hot, cold or room temperature water
as water already filled and kept in the flask
leads to guest perception of the water being stale,
which they promptly ask to be replaced.
The glasses too are turned upside down and kept
in the tray, thereby doing away with having to
wrap each glass in a plastic bag and consequently
generating more waste for the hotel.
This medicine is in the form of a paste and
it is applied to all nooks and corners in the
form of small globules in the premises, which
is to be treated. This paste can also be applied
in refrigerators, ovens, toasters, microwaves
mixers, computers as it is non-poisonous.
CLOTH MATS
To reduce the waste generated by our hotel we
use cloth mats instead of paper ones.

To add to the above, use of single serving items
