1) Your Question : How do I cancel reservations I have made?
Answer :Click on link provided in the booking status, insert the confirmation number and email address. The next screen after Login at the bottom is the cancel button. If credit card especial rates are provided cancellation is null and void. If you need further assurance, contact hotdealhotels.com's Customer Support And Reservations Specialists : booking@hotdealhotels.com;

2) Your Question : How do I reserve my hotel room under Hot Deals hotels?
Answer : Our reservation process is very simple. Select or enter the desired country and city, enter the check-in and check-out dates, and enter the number of rooms. Click the 'Search' Hotels button to search for hotels with availability. You could also search by a specific hotel name within a city.

A list of hotels will appear on the screen. For more information, click the Info button. To pick a hotel, click the Select button.

After room types and rates are displayed to your screen, click the radio button on the left side to select the room catagory Fill in the Address, Telephone, Mode of payment, comments if any and click submit.

If further correspondence is necessary prior to confirming the reservation, a Customer Support And Reservation Specialist will reply back to you with an email within 48 hours.


3) Your Question : How do I know which type of room to book?
Answer : Rooms are often based on Single, Twin or Triple occupancy. Click on the Thumbnail Icon to view the rooms

For example:
A Deluxe Single room type is meant for one adult in a room with a single bed (single or queen-size bed).

A Deluxe Twin room type is meant for two adults in a room with either two single beds, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed.

4) Your Question : What does "Run-of-House" mean?
Answer :
"Run-of-House" refers to the first available non-suite and non-executive floor room category that the hotel assigns for your check-in upon your arrival at the hotel. Room assigned may be from the hotel's Standard, Superior or Deluxe room category and may vary from one hotel to another. For example, if a Standard room is not available upon your arrival, the hotel may upgrade your reservation to a Superior or a Deluxe room category without any additional charges.

5) Your Question : What do you mean by 'Seafacing'?
Answer :
Seafacing means a room that is facing the sea. This does not necessarily mean that you are able to view the sea from the room.

Answer :
Seaview means that you are able to view the sea from your room.

7) Your Question : Why are the hotel rates different for different periods of stay?
Answer :
Rates differ due to variable factors such as high/low season, number of travelers, etc. Rates are normally more expensive during high season; therefore, most reservations are on the waiting list and is subject to availability. High seasons normally occur during public holidays, trade fairs, conferences, trade exhibitions and group bookings. On the other hand, rates are normally cheaper during the low season period, when the probability of confirming a room is higher.


8) Your Question : Do I need to call the hotel directly to reconfirm my booking?
Answer :

Can I enjoy hotdealhotels.com rates if I book directly with the hotel?
Answer :
The rates displayed on hotdealhotels.com are exclusive for our members who book online via our website. If you wish to place a reservation with the hotel directly, the rates may be higher and will be quoted at the hotel's own discretion.


10) Your Question : I cannot find the hotel I want. Can I book an unlisted hotel?
Answer :

11) Your Question : I have yet to receive my booking confirmation after 48 hours. Why is that?
Answer :
When you make a reservation at hotdealhotels.com, your reservation is transmitted directly to the hotel or supplier's computer reservations system. If you have not received any word from us via email after 48 hours, it means your reservation is still on the hotel's waiting list; either due to high demand or the temporary unavailability of the hotel's computer reservation system.

12) Your Question : Why are there different room categories in a hotel? What is the difference and which category should I select?
Answer :
Hotels generally tend to categorize their rooms with different names such as Standard, Superior, Deluxe, Executive, Studio, Junior Suites, Suites, etc? The main difference between these room categories lies in the room space as well as the amenities provided and may vary from one hotel to another. For example, a Standard room may have very basic room amenities and are generally smaller as compared to a Superior or a Deluxe room.

Rooms are also differentiated by their level of occupancy. You may wish to check the individual hotel's web page for further details. The information provided below serves as a general guide only.

Single room
A single room is designed to accommodate one person only. The room is usually configured with one Single or a Junior Queen bed. Extra bed will not be possible.

Twin / Double room
A twin / double room is designed to accommodate two people only. The room is usually configured with either one Queen/King-size bed OR two Single beds.

Triple room
A triple room is designed to accommodate three people only. The room is configured with one Queen/King-size bed plus a rollaway OR two Single beds plus a rollaway.

Quad room
A quadruple room is designed to accommodate four people only. The room may be configured with two Queen-size beds, One Queen-size beds, two Single beds, four single beds OR the equivalent to accommodate four people.

13) Your Question : What time can I check-in?
Answer :
Hotels around the world generally have a check-in time of after 1200hours (property's local time) daily. Any request for early check-in prior to the hotel's official check-in time, a guaranteed reservation of one day prior to the arrival date will be required. For example, if your arrival time is between 0000 hours and 0900 hours on 13 October, your check-in date has to be indicated as 12 October. Any request for early check-in without any additional charges will be at the hotel's own discretion.

14) Your Question : When is the latest I can check-out from the hotel?
Answer :
Hotels around the world generally have a check-out time of before 1200hours (property's local time) daily. This is just a general rule. It is advisable for you to reconfirm with the hotel's front desk prior to your departure as certain hotels may have a check-out time of as early as 0900hrs daily. Any request for late check-out without any additional charges will be at the hotel's own discretion.

15) Your Question : Do hotels have minimum age requirements?
Answer :
Many hotels around the world do have a minimum age restriction or requirements when reserving a room, especially if it involves unaccompanied minor. Please check with the hotel concerned directly.

16) Your Question : Are the rates per room or per person basis?
Answer :
Our hotel rates are always displayed on per room per night basis, unless otherwise specified. For apartments and suites, rates shown will be on per unit per night basis, unless otherwise specified.

17) Your Question : Are taxes included in the rate?
Answer :
The rates for prepaid reservation(s) are usually inclusive of all applicable taxes, unless otherwise specified whereas the rates for post-paid reservation(s) (reservations whereby payment are made at the hotel) will be subjected to the hotel's local taxes on top of the quoted rate. This is just a general rule and it is advisable for you to carefully read all text associated with any reservation.

18) Your Question : Is breakfast included in the room rate?
Answer :
Most of our special rates generally do not include any breakfast, unless otherwise specified. If complimentary breakfast or any other meal(s) is included in the room rate, it will be displayed at the individual hotel's web booking page and will also be indicated on your Hotel Travel Voucher.

19) Your Question : What currency are the hotel rates quoted in?
Answer :
All prepaid reservation(s) are currently displayed in US Dollars only whereas the post-paid reservation(s) are shown in the hotel's local currency.

20) Your Question : Why are the hotel rates different for different period of stay?
Answer :
Prices may differ due to variable factors such as seasonality, number of travelers, currency fluctuation, etc? Generally, room rates are normally more expensive during high or peak season and this usually occurs during public holidays, festive holidays, local school holidays, trade fairs or exhibitions period, major games or sport events, major conventions, etc? On the other hand, room rates will be relatively cheaper during the hotel's low season.

21) Your Question : Why are the prices different from when I last checked?
Answer :
Apart from changes that may be made to reflect the market conditions, there may be a slight variation in price on a daily basis that is resulted by any movement in the foreign currency exchange level.

22) Your Question : Do children receive any discounted rates or do they stay for free?
Answer :
Child policy as well as child reductions (if any) may vary from one hotel to another. Most hotels around the world generally allows a maximum of 02 children below 06 years old (or one child between 06 and 12 years of age) to share a room with two adults based on the existing bedding without any additional charges. Any person who is of 12 years and above will be considered as an adult by the hotel industry. Normal charges will apply for both the room and/or meals.

If extra bed is required, you will need to place a reservation that is based on triple-sharing. Do note that there are certain countries especially in the Europe and the Oceania / Pacific region where it is mandatory for each child to have his or her own bed due to the strict fire regulations imposed by the local government.

23) Your Question : Are the hotel rates the same for everyone?
Answer :
It is common for all hotels around the world to practice market segmentation. There may be instances where the rates shown on our website are meant for overseas guests only and may not be applicable to the respective country's local citizens and/or its permanent residents. Thus, the hotel concerned reserves its right to refuse/reject any reservations(s) upon check-in if the guest(s) are found to be local citizens and/or residents. However, if the hotel agrees to accept the reservation, the guest(s) may be liable to pay a walk-in supplement upon check-in.

24) Your Question : I have made a reservation but will there be any extra charges added to my hotel bill that I have to pay upon my departure?
Answer :
If you have made a prepaid reservation, your charges would have included most of the applicable taxes. Incidental costs such as meals, mini-bar, laundry, telephone calls, parking, etc? are not included in your reservation rate.

For post-paid hotel reservation, room and local taxes are often not included in the quoted rate, unless otherwise stated. These taxes generally ranges between 10% and 25% of the room rate, varies from one destination to another and are added to your hotel bill along with your accommodation fee and any incidental charges that you may have incurred.

25) Your Question : How far in advance do I need to book?
Answer :
Hotel reservation(s) may be accepted up to 24 hours prior to your arrival date while all flight reservation(s) has to be made at least 07 days prior to your departure date. It is advisable to reserve and/or purchase your trip(s) as early as possible in order to enjoy our special deals and to avoid disappointment.

26) Your Question : Can I make reservations for hotdealhotels.com members?
Answer :
Definitely! You can indeed make reservation(s) for your family members and/or friends through your account by entering the actual traveler's name(s) instead of yours upon making the reservation. However, for security reasons, our merchant bank my at times request for additional verification to ensure that the credit card information provided is not abused by unauthorized party.

27) Your Question : Can I make a hotel reservation by phone or e-mail?
Answer :
Yes, our travel consultants will be more than happy to assist you. If this service is required, you may e-mail your flight itinerary and/or your hotel reservation details to us at bookings@hotdealhotels.com.

28) Your Question : Are there any hidden charges or processing fee involved?
Answer :
There are no charges involved for accessing and/or utilizing our on-line reservations system. It is FREE

29) Your Question : How do I place a hotel reservation online via the website?
Answer :
Making an online reservation is as simple as ABC. First, select a destination, your preferred traveling date and number of room(s) required. Then click on the "Search" icon. Next, select your preferred hotel and your preferred room category. Finally, fill in your reservation details as well as your credit card information and click on the "Book Now" icon. The Credit card No is taken by the hotel for guarantee only

30) Your Question : I would like to make reservations at two different hotels and/or for two different room categories at the same property but there's no way to enter that on the same booking form. Please help?
Answer :
Our online reservations system currently does not offer simultaneous booking of multiple hotels or room categories. If you require reservations at more than one hotel or for different room categories at the same property, you will need to complete one reservation and then repeat the process for the next hotel or room category. Please ensure that each reservation is made under the name of the person who will be staying in the room.

31) Your Question : How do I know if my hotel reservation is confirmed?
Answer :
Upon the completion of your reservation, you will receive a payment successful page. A confirmation e-mail will also be sent to the e-mail address that is stated in your profile immediately after you complete your reservation. If you do not receive your confirmation e-mail and could not locate this transaction in your account, please e-mail us at booking@hotdealhotels.com.

32) Your Question : Do I need to contact the hotel to reconfirm my reservation?
Answer :
All reservation(s) made via hotdealhotels.com does not require any reconfirmation as they are guaranteed. All you need is to print and present our Hotel Travel Voucher and/or your Booking Slip (for post-paid reservations) upon your arrival at the hotel.

33) Your Question : How can I review a reservation that I have previously made?
Answer :
Just click on the link provided in your email and access your account by entering your reference No. and email address.

34) Your Question : How can I view or print my Hotel Travel Voucher(s) and/or my Booking Slip(s)?
Answer :
Just click on the link provided in your email and access your account by entering your reference No. and email address. Your booking details will be displayed. You may then proceed to print it.

35) Your Question : Can I bookmark the web page which contains my Hotel Travel Voucher and/or my Booking Slip so that I can retrieve it later?
Answer :
We do not recommend our users to bookmark their Hotel Travel Voucher and/or Booking Slip page(s). As a protective measure, the links to these page(s) are programmed to expire within a certain time frame to prevent any unauthorized users from accessing your travel plan(s).

36) Your Question : How do I amend my itinerary?
Answer :
We do understand that due to your busy schedule, a change in your travel itinerary is unavoidable. To amend your itinerary after your reservation is confirmed, you will need to cancel the current reservation and place a fresh reservation online via our website based on your new travel itinerary. Cancellation fees may apply. Please refer to the individual travel product's Cancellation and Refund Policy and/or hotdealhotels.com's General Cancellation and Refund Policy as stated in our User Agreement for further details.

37) Your Question : How do I cancel a hotel reservation that I have made?
Answer :
Firstly, access your account Just click on the link provided in your email and access your account by entering your reference No. and email address. Next, click on the "booking cancel" link of the particular transaction that you wish to cancel at the "Booking" page of your account and review the cancellation details on the following web page. To confirm the cancellation of your accommodation arrangement, just click on the radio button put in your comments and click the submit button. Once the transaction is successfully cancelled, an e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address that you have provided in your profile.

38) Your Question : When is the latest date for me to cancel my hotel reservation?
Answer :
Cancellation dateline may vary from one hotel to another. Please refer to the individual hotel's cancellation and refund policy for further details. This will also be stated in your Travel Voucher and/or Booking Slip.

39) Your Question : If I did not go for my trip and failed to cancel my reservation, will my credit card be charged?
Answer :
It is important to note that each individual travel product has its own cancellation period. If you have a change of itinerary and/or did not cancel within the allotted cancellation period, your credit card will be charged for the full amount, regardless whether the reservation or service is utilized. Please refer to the individual travel product's Cancellation and Refund Policy and/or hotdealhotels.com's General Cancellation and Refund Policy as stated in our User Agreement for further details.

40) Your Question : I have cancelled my hotel reservation before the cut-off date but the refund does not show on my credit card account. What happened?
Answer : We do not charge your Credit card the hotel will charge a rentention fee for no show depending on the TAC of each hotel.

41) Your Question : Do I have to become a member before I can make a reservation?
Answer :
No, you need not register as a member prior to making any reservation(s) as the special rates displayed on hotdealhotels.com are exclusive for all members. Registration is free and immediate.

42) Your Question : I was making a reservation when I got disconnected from the Internet. Is my reservation successful?
Answer :
If you did not receive a booking successful page before you were disconnected, then it is likely that your reservation was not successfully submitted. To verify this, please check your mail for confirmation. You will be able to view the transaction in your email if the reservation is successful. If it is not there, you will need to return to our reservations system to place the booking again.

43) Your Question : I have keyed-in my reservation details correctly but I could not complete the transaction as the system responds with the message "empty space(s) are not allowed". What's wrong?
Answer :
Our system has prompted the message "empty space(s) are not allowed" as you have entered an invalid credit card number that include empty space(s). Please re-enter your 16-digit credit card number without the empty space(s) and you should be able to submit your reservation request without further problems. If the same problem reoccurs, please e-mail that particular page to us at booking@hotdealhotels.com and let us know how you encounter the problem.
